Michele Swanson, Bert Wolfe Professor Emeritus of Microbiology in South Dakota State University’s Department of Biology; In addition to her international reputation as an infectious disease researcher Dr. Neidhardt served on The American Society for Microbiology’s Public Policy Committee and was elected President of ASM in 2004-2005.
