The recently released Warhammer 40k eighth edition rulebook is a vast improvement over the 7th. The only thing that I’m going to be critical of here is that it feels like much of 7e was just recycled into a new book and then some stuff added on top. It feels as if not much effort went into really trying to make a better game. As it did just going through and rewriting things with a little more detail and new rules thrown in for convenience. Now let me get into why I think that way.
