But when you consider that he writes a book approximately every six months, it becomes easier to believe. Lock-In is his tenth novel, but his first in a new science fiction series called The Interdependency—although don’t let that dissuade you if you aren’t normally into sci-fi: Though it has some fantastic elements and takes place about 600 years in our future (when Earth is connected with other worlds via portals), Lock In is really just another suspense thriller.
