The first thing that needs to be said about Angel by James Patterson, is that it’s short. This isn’t necessarily bad, as there are plenty of benefits to short books – like not taking too long to finish them! Another benefit to this book being short is that you can read it in one sitting – and that’s what I did when I picked up Angel. It was just what I needed after a long day at work…a book that I could read and get lost in while my roommate made dinner, then left me alone to focus on what was happening on my Kindle app.

Angel is a very well-written novel. The author uses multiple points of view to tell his stories which allows you to explore each character’s thoughts and emotions throughout. I enjoyed all of the suspenseful parts of it, but what impressed me most was how they wove these stories into one another so seamlessly that it was as if they were all happening at once. It was also pretty cool how some of these characters had intertwining backgrounds with others in some other book. Overall I think Angel is a fantastic read for anyone who enjoys suspense and thrillers and even romance! If you like any books like those then I would defiantly recommend reading Angel from James Patterson.
