The story centers around a young artist, who is struggling to make ends meet. She goes back to her hometown after she inherits a family home. Her childhood friend and new neighbors welcome her and she starts making changes in her life with their help. This book is romantic comedy at its best. The first few chapters are slow but it picks up towards the middle of the story then you can’t put it down till you finish it. The character development is good and descriptions will take you back to your own hometown days. A perfect read for cold winter evenings curled up in a warm blanket!

About “Nora Roberts” the author of “Inner Harbor”

A prolific and hugely popular romance writer, Nora Roberts was born Eleanor Marie Robertson in Silver Spring, Maryland, on October 10, 1950. Her mother was a homemaker and her father worked at a Navy base. The family moved to New Jersey when she was eight. She attended Catholic schools until high school when she began working to pay for college expenses. After graduating from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia with degrees in English and Art History, she took a job as an advertising copywriter before writing her first novel in 1979. During her first marriage (which ended in 1983), she raised three children while simultaneously publishing novels under several pseudonyms.
