Reviews About “Cryptography and Network Security: Principles and Practice 7th Edition”

People have very mixed opinions on Cryptography and Network Security. Some of them are saying that it has good explanations, diagrams, exercises, and examples; others say that there is too much to read. It’s hard to follow through all pages of work, with no descriptions about algorithms given. But I think what makes it an interesting book is its simple explanation for complex topics. Such as hash functions, key derivation functions (KDF), nonces or initialization vector (IV) they do use without a lot of nonsense around them. A good resource for network security students since it covers everything required in CCNA 200-120 exam.
