Saving April was an interesting book to read that I did not want to put down once I started reading it! In this book, one girl’s life changes after an accident that she wasn’t involved in occurred while she was driving her friend home. After the accident, April had to wear leg braces so that she would be able to walk again and had to wear them full-time while still being able to continue playing basketball at her high school. This was an extremely interesting story and definitely made me want to read more of Sarah A. Denzil’s works!

Scott must come to terms with becoming someone he does not want to be and Kyle must deal with serious injuries that prevent him from living life as he had planned. Seventeen years later, we see Scott again as he plans his trip home for Easter break while interning at Bellevue Hospital Center in New York City.

I have never read a book like Saving April. I don’t know how else to describe it other than amazing and awesome! Even though there were some super heart-wrenching moments in it, I still loved it and couldn’t put it down!! The characters were so vivid and real and their story just pulled me right in. Once you start reading you just can’t stop until you finish! Save yourself a few late nights though, because once you start, you will not want to put it down!! In need of a great vacation read? Look no further… This book was really good with an original storyline. What can I say except WOW!! Amazing Book!!! Loved everything about it!

Denzil was born in Staffordshire England but grew up across from RAF Burtonwood airbase where American servicemen were stationed during World War II when it was used as an overseas receiving depot. She moved to America at age 16 and has lived all over the US before settling down in Alabama with her daughter, husband & dog Buster
