V. Larson brings you the first installment in the New Solar Empire series, the captivating, action-packed Home World. Featuring one of the best twists on the alien invasion that I have ever read (no pun intended), Home World was quite easily one of my favorite books this year, and I cannot wait to read more from Larson in the future! I am currently reading Terra Invicta, which is also by Larson. So far, it has proven to be another incredible novel that has kept me up at night and had me fully engrossed!

First off, let me just say that I loved HomeWorld from start to finish; in fact, it was one of my favorite sci-fi reads of 2017. While some authors take a little time for their worlds to come together (I’m looking at you, Star Wars), Larson has created an entire history on his planet and doesn’t waste any time getting us into a detailed plot right away. The introduction gives us a brief overview of how Earth has destroyed thousands of years ago and humans were forced to relocate to another planet via stargate-like devices called Crossways.
About “B. V. Larson” the author of “Home World”
B.V. Larson was born in Seattle and raised on a dairy farm in Eastern Washington State. He served in Vietnam, attended college, and earned a law degree from Willamette University College of Law in Salem, Oregon, where he was an editor of the Willamette Law Review and President of Alpha Delta Phi legal fraternity. He practiced law for over 30 years before retiring to write full-time.
