Giancoli). I recommend getting acquainted with all concepts of Physics in order to understand how their relationships work. Without that knowledge, we can’t explain and apply them in real life – simple as that! In my opinion, Douglas has done an excellent job trying to keep students engaged while teaching them everything they need to know about Physics.
About “Douglas A. Giancoli” the Author
Douglas A. Giancoli is a Professor of Physics at River Falls, University of Wisconsin. His main teaching and research interests are in statistical mechanics, quantum physics, atomic and molecular spectroscopy, and X-ray diffraction techniques. He was a recipient of a Presidential Young Investigator Award from President Carter in 1979, when he was at Princeton University. In addition to his work as an author for APress/Cengage Learning, he also has published research articles in peer-reviewed journals such as Science.
