I have to say that I was very surprised by this book. Which I read while on vacation in Florida earlier this month. I was expecting a fairly standard story of an unemployed man searching for his place in the world. Only to end up in prison and get his life back on track. To my surprise, I found myself reading about someone who’s trying to rebuild his relationship with his ex-wife and his daughter after serving 10 years in prison, following a crime he didn’t commit. As well as working toward getting out of the criminal mindset he learned. While he was locked up for those years.

Fallen King by Wayne Stinnett is a fantasy novel set in medieval times. The book is about two twins that were separated at birth and later reunited when one of them becomes king. In an epic tale of revenge, loyalty, and betrayal, the king leads his men into battle to overthrow his evil brother and gain back control of his kingdom. Author Wayne Stinnett has been a mainstay in publishing since 2004 when he published his first novel titled The Falling Man. Fallen King is his ninth book to date, but it may very well be one of my favorites so far.

Wayne Stinnett is a retired U.S. Air Force veteran, who served in Iraq and Afghanistan as an intelligence officer with over thirty years of service. He is a graduate of North Carolina State University and Duke University, where he studied History and Political Science. He resides in California with his wife and three children.
