First off, if you’re a fan of sci-fi and military tactics, then you probably already know about John’s Old Man’s War series. I can say with 100% certainty that The End of All Things is just as good as his previous books. This new story features James Purefoy as Colonel Nieman, an aging officer in the United Nations Exploratory Force (UNEF). When a hostile alien species make contact for the first time in history, and further conflict seems imminent, Nieman must lead his troops into battle one last time.
