About “Anni Taylor” the author of “The Game You Played”

Anni Taylor was born in Northamptonshire in 1966. At a young age she knew she wanted to be a writer and at sixteen, won her first short story competition. She went on to study French Literature at University College London and is currently doing her Ph.D. in nineteenth-century children’s literature. She has written for various newspapers and magazines, including The Daily Telegraph, The Guardian Weekend Magazine, and Babytalk Magazine. Her first novel, ‘A Love Child’ was published in 1998; its sequel ‘Gone From My Sight’ followed in 2000; while her third novel, ‘Something Worth Keeping’, was published in 2007. The Game You Played is Anni’s fifth book of fiction and will be published next month (July 2011).
