The story is told primarily from Mike Harmon’s point of view, allowing us access to his thoughts during battle scenes – and providing insights into what keeps him fighting when things seem darkest.

The characters are fully fleshed out and believable, with many different viewpoints from different ranks within NATO. I would recommend Red Storm Rising to anyone who enjoys thriller or military-based books but also for someone who just enjoys a great book that makes you think about today’s world and how it can be altered tomorrow. It really is a work of art.
