This book has helped me a lot to prepare for my accounting class. It includes excellent examples and explanations about each concept. Some people might say that it is quite difficult to understand because of the large number of pages and small size of each page; however, if you really want to grasp all concepts in-depth then it is your book! Especially chapter 8 has helped me a lot to find more detailed information. The only downside I see in this book is that it may be not helpful if you have previous financial knowledge due to its new content and more details. But if you are an accounting beginner or don’t have much knowledge of accounting principles then it will be a great companion for your studies!
About “Robert Libby, Patricia Libby, Frank Hodge” the Authors
Robert A. Libby is Professor Emeritus of Accountancy at California State University Northridge. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from San Diego State University and his Master’s degree and Doctorate from Washington State University. In addition to teaching at Cal State Northridge, he taught courses in business ethics and accounting at Mount St. Mary’s College in Los Angeles and Loyola Law School. He also served as Associate Dean for Administration at CSUN during a period when enrollment grew 40%. Patricia J.Libby is an accountant, adjunct professor of accounting, author, speaker, and consultant specializing in topics related to small businesses and nonprofit organizations; she also teaches tax courses at California State University Northridge.
