Bucky O’Hare is a normal rabbit and captain of a spaceship who has been captured by a bounty hunter named Hunter. The only way for Bucky to escape is if his friend Jenny uses her telepathic powers (although she isn’t very good at it) to mentally contact someone, anyone on Earth, and tell them about Hunter and what he does so that they can rescue him. The book You have to believe me is an inspirational fiction novel that revolves around relationships and friendship. The story is set in Rome, where a person named Nicky arrives for his father’s funeral. His father was an Italian national but left his family when Nicky was very young and after that. He met his mother at the tender age of nine years. He has four sisters and three brothers; some of them are on good terms with him while others aren’t but still try their best from time to time.
About “Sunday Tomassetti” the author of “You Have to Believe Me”
One of five siblings, Tomassetti was born in Oakland, California. After growing up in a variety of locations—including Nebraska and Vienna, Austria—Tomassetti attended Boston University where she earned her B.A. in psychology and worked with children with autism spectrum disorders. She received her MFA from Vermont College of Fine Arts. She currently lives in Brooklyn, New York with her husband and two children (ages 7 & 10). You Have to Believe Me is her first novel.
