Which allows them to live normal lives and forget the harsh reality of their world. However, once they enter the program, they discover that the prison-like system is far from being perfect. And must figure out how to escape before it’s too late!

Every once in a while, I come across a book so unique and enjoyable that it makes me feel like I’ve stumbled upon something special. It’s difficult to describe The Heart Goes Last without spoiling anything; suffice it to say that once you learn about Stan and Charmaine. You won’t believe your eyes or your mind. If you’re looking for an intellectual, yet suspenseful and fun read, The Heart Goes Last is for you. I loved every moment of it and am already looking forward to her next novel!
About “Margaret Atwood” the author of “The Heart Goes Last”
Margaret Atwood is a Canadian poet, novelist, literary critic, essayist, inventor, and environmental activist. She is a winner of many literary awards including a Man Booker Prize, Prince of Asturias Award for Literature, and has been inducted into both Canada’s Walk of Fame and its Writers’ Hall of Fame. In 2003 she was inducted into Canada’s highest civilian order—the Order of Canada—as an Officer (the highest level in that order). She is also a Commander of France’s Ordre des Arts et des Lettres. She lives in Toronto with writer Graeme Gibson and their three children.
