Vanishing Girls by Lisa Regan is a thrilling mystery/suspense novel that keeps you turning pages, guessing what might happen next. I loved it. The plot was not confusing and the characters were very easy to get to know; there are many plot twists and they leave you wanting more at each chapter’s end. And with that cliffhanger on the ending, I can’t wait for book 2! It takes place in modern-day Chicago and follows two sisters who move from New York to attend school at Northwestern University, a big change from their home in upstate New York. They soon find out they are living across from crime scenes where girls disappear without any explanation. Anna and Clare both have secrets of their own, but as things progress around them will those secrets tear them apart or bring them closer together?
