About “Martin Silberberg, Patricia Amateis” the Authors
Martin Silberberg is a University Distinguished Professor at Virginia Tech. He received his B.S. from Yale University in 1955, a Ph.D. from Cornell University in 1960. And he was on the faculties of Harvard (1960–66), MIT (1966–71), and Yale (1971–73). He then joined Bell Laboratories as a Member of the Technical Staff before moving to Purdue University in 1979. Where he is currently Professor Emeritus in Chemistry. Dr. Silberberg has published more than 250 papers on electron-transfer reactions of biologically important molecules both as an experimentalist and as a theorist.
