Organic chemistry students, rejoice! You don’t have to spend hours in the lab learning how to set up your equipment or run complicated experiments. And you don’t have to guess what equipment and instruments you need, either. This detailed manual will tell you exactly what the procedures are for running organic chemistry experiments. Read reviews, excerpts and find out more about The Organic Chemistry Laboratory Survival Manual (10th Edition) by James W. Zubrick on Simon & Schuster Australia. Download our mobile app now! It has been very useful and helpful so far! Not only did I learn techniques in the lab. But also how not to burn me or get too mad from adding wrong reactants together. This book will definitely be useful for future organic chemistry classes that I may take throughout college. Especially if those classes are taught using a similar teaching style with an emphasis on lab skills.
Reviews About “The Organic Chem Lab Survival Manual 10th Edition”
I am currently an undergrad chemistry student taking Organic Chemistry I and II, as well as Biochemistry I at the University of North Texas (UNT). Although I have not yet started lab for these classes, having a background in biochemistry helps ease my worries about actually being able to comprehend some of these concepts rather than memorizing reactions and nomenclature. And although I don’t know much about organic chemistry, after reading through most of a chapter in The ORGANIC CHEMISTRY LAB SURVIVAL MANUAL: A STUDENT’S GUIDE TO TECHNIQUES, THIRD EDITION, it seems like that is what will be going on during these labs.
