About “Dr. Kathryn Sorrells” the Author
Dr. Kathryn Sorrells is a professor of communication studies at Monmouth University. Where she teaches courses in intercultural communication, media literacy, cultural identity, and social justice. She received her Ph.D. from Pennsylvania State University in 2003. She earned her M.A., with distinction, in Japanese language and literature from Stanford University (1997). And he was a founding member of the university’s Asian American student organization (The Spoke). Her first book on intercultural communication theory was published by SAGE Publications in 2005, with her third book Globalization & Social Justice released in December 2016 through Bloomsbury Publishing, UK’s leading academic publisher.
