Reviews About “The Norton Introduction to Literature 13th Edition”
I read a lot of introductory books on a wide variety of topics in college. And I was always confused as to why they were being taught at all. The purpose of these books was usually pretty simple. They gave an overview of concepts while pointing out that there was more depth if you wanted it, but it wasn’t required. This book takes a similar approach, giving basic overviews and explaining. Which elements are most important for someone new to any type of literature or genre (with some suggestions for where you can go if you’re interested). It even addresses things like English teachers who may be reading your work and what their expectations are.
