Reviews About “Molecular Biology of the Cell 6th Edition”
Molecular Biology of the Cell Sixth Edition: The edition to own. I love Bruce Alberts and all his other books so had to have it. Excellent delivery and communication with seller. It came in great condition in about a week from the shipping date despite being an international purchase so that was awesome! The book itself is exactly what I expected. Very easy to read and understand! And beautiful pictures! It has everything you need to know about cell biology. This is a must-have textbook for every student or anyone who just wants a better understanding of cells as well as DNA and RNA synthesis. Would highly recommend buying it!
About the Authors
Alexander Johnson is a Professor at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics. He is also an investigator at The Research Institute of Nationwide Children’s Hospital and has been a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Investigator since 2004. Johnson’s research focuses on protein biochemistry and he has discovered many novel proteins including small protease domains that bind RNA, a class of large multi-domain proteins associated with neurodegenerative diseases such as ALS/FTD and Duchenne muscular dystrophy as well as proteins involved in stem cell pluripotency. Alex received his Ph.D. from The University Of Pennsylvania in 1992 for work studying T4 phage lysozyme along with Gerald Fink and Todd Dickinson.
