Overview About “Art History Volume 1 5th Edition”
Art is an essential part of human experience and expression. Yet it has never been so widely available to viewers in such a wide range of formats as today. In addition to regular gallery visits, art can be seen on TV and in movies; at concerts; online and on cell phones; even from space. How do we understand what we are seeing? When did certain styles develop? And how have various media influenced each other over time? Art History provides answers to these questions for beginning students. They need a comprehensive introduction to works in different mediums from ancient times through today’s society. You can use both editions interchangeably with any textbook that covers chapters 1-16 in chronological order.
Reviews About “Art History Volume 1 5th Edition”
I read volume one of art history for fun in my spare time because I love art! I learned a lot about famous artists and it was great that there were pictures in between each chapter. So you could review what you just read and get excited to read more! Overall, it’s a great book for anyone interested in learning about art. But don’t want to be bored out of their mind like school would have you believe happens when reading an actual textbook about art. You should definitely pick up a copy on Amazon if you are an artist or even if you just have an interest in reading/learning about famous painters and why they became popular or influential among people who visited galleries back then.
