Reviews About “Managing and Using Information Systems A Strategic Approach 6th Edition”
It gives a good history of how we got to where we are now with information systems and provides good insight into why data is so crucial for organizations to succeed. This book puts a lot of emphasis on critical thinking skills when it comes to using data to help drive decisions, rather than just using gut instinct or arbitrary numbers that were pulled out of thin air as decision support tools. I highly recommend reading it as an adjunct to any BIS-degree curriculum—especially in semesters where you’re not required to purchase additional textbooks!
