Reviews About “The Glass Forest” by “Cynthia Swanson”

When I first started reading The Glass Forest, I wasn’t sure how I felt about it. The plotline seemed too far-fetched to be realistic, and it was hard for me to believe that a person could be pushed so far as to murder due to pettiness and jealousy. But just when I thought my doubts had outweighed my ability to enjoy it, something would happen that would solidify my decision in favor of giving it another try. Almost immediately, I became invested in Ondaatje’s story of friendship and betrayal—and though there were still some points that didn’t seem plausible, there were many others where he captured human behavior and emotion so well that they were inspiring instead of ridiculous.
