Dennis G. Zill is Professor Emeritus of Mathematics at Ohio State University, where he has served as Chairman of both its Department of Mathematics and its Graduate Program in Applied Mathematics. He taught a variety of courses including Calculus I, Calculus II, Multivariable Calculus, Linear Algebra, Ordinary Differential Equations, Partial Differential Equations, Numerical Analysis, and various other courses for engineering students (Thermodynamics) and financial mathematics (Portfolio Theory). Dr. Zill received his BA from Boston College in 1962 and his Ph.D. from Brown University in 1966.
