Overview About “Psychology: Perspectives and Connections (3rd Edition)”

Psychology is a highly useful academic discipline in several ways. First, it can be seen as an applied science in that its concepts help to explain everyday human behavior. Furthermore, psychology offers insight into human nature that is not immediately evident from an empirical standpoint; for example, many of us believe we are rational beings who make decisions according to our emotions and desires at any given moment in time; however, behavioral studies show us that oftentimes there is more to human behavior than what meets our eye. Thus, psychology helps us understand ourselves beyond the obvious empirical perspective.

Reviews About “Psychology: Perspectives and Connections (3rd Edition)”

I can honestly say that the author is one of my favorite professors at Illinois State University. I would highly recommend any Psychology instructor to use his Psychology books in their class as it clearly lays out topics in an easy-to-understand format for both students and teachers alike! His sense of humor makes every chapter entertaining as well. If you have a passion for Psychology or if you love learning about how people think. Then I definitely suggest using his book in your class.
