Overview About “When All Is Said” by “Anne Griffin”

The words of a long-dead author can stir up powerful memories in a young woman. Victoria Stanhope was twenty-five years old when she found out that her father had died. She was alone at home; it was late at night and she picked up a book to distract herself from her loss. It happened to be a book written by her great-grandfather and as she began reading, she was swept back in time – living again through vivid descriptions of all that he saw during his life. This poignant novel about love, war, loss, and self-discovery celebrates one family’s lasting legacy: the strength of their unique history will echo through generations.
