Reviews About “The Goose Girl” by “Shannon Hale”

The first thing you’ll want to know about The Goose Girl is that it’s not your typical fairy tale. It is a blend of several classic fairy tales and has aspects of folklore and legend are woven in. I also enjoyed that there was no prince involved, just a girl who had to learn to make her own decisions. With its lack of royalty, The Goose Girl may be more appealing to boys as well as girls. Because it doesn’t rely on girls finding their place through some random love story.
