If you love books, especially romance and mystery books, you will certainly enjoy the book titled Starry Night by Debbie Macomber. It is the second book of the Cedar Cove series and was published in 2008. This story follows many of the main characters who we get to know and care about in the first book called 16 Lighthouse Road. We see them dealing with new challenges and experiences while being forced to deal with their own pasts as well. We follow these characters as they each grow and develop even more into complex people whom we learn to care about all over again.
Overview About “Starry Night” by “Debbie Macomber”
I have to admit, I had my doubts. From reading previous books in her Cedar Cove series and being only so-so on them. I was certain that I wouldn’t like another book from Ms. Macomber’s. My expectations were exceeded when I started reading Starry Night. The characters were well developed and drew me into their world where I truly cared about what happened to them. The character of Olivia wasn’t someone you liked right away but she won you over before long with her need for independence and inability to open up to others easily even as she tried hard not to be lonely.
Reviews About “Starry Night” by “Debbie Macomber”
The Stone Creek series has been a long-time favorite of mine. I’ve loved each book and was so excited to find out that there would be a new series in Baxter Springs. I’m happy to say that I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Chloe Wilcox and Sawyer Shaw in Starry Night. The emotions that were brought out from both characters were extremely realistic and believable and made them seem very real. Even though their relationship wasn’t initially planned for, it flowed naturally for me when things happened between them.
