Reviews About “Just Like Heaven” by “Julia Quinn”
I read quite a few romances, so it’s hard to find something new and different. Julia Quinn did just that with her novel Just Like Heaven. I love period pieces and what drew me to reading this one was that it took place in 1814. This isn’t a book for everyone because there are numerous references to medicine and surgical procedures at times. If you’re squeamish about medical procedures don’t even bother, but if you have an interest in historical romantic literature that combines romance, suspense, humor, betrayal, controversy, and ultimately love then I highly recommend Just Like Heaven. It tells a poignant story of loss and second chances while remaining true to its genre.
