Having read and loved The Lotus War and Stormdancer, I was very excited to pick up Darkdawn. I have been a fan of Jay’s work since completing his debut novel, Legenderry: A Steampunk Adventure. Dark dawn is a story about stopping an invasion from another dimension that threatens to destroy all reality as we know it. It features his trademarked blend of epic storytelling and action-packed combat sequences with brilliant world-building that you will not find anywhere else on today’s market.
About “Jay Kristoff” the author of “Darkdawn”
Jay Kristoff was born in 1978 in Albany, Western Australia. He holds a Master’s degree in literature and lives on a remote farm with his wife and daughter. He has worked as a freelance journalist for newspapers, magazines, and websites. His debut novel Tide of Shadows (Harper Voyager) was published internationally to critical acclaim. Dark dawn is his second novel set within The Lotus War universe that he co-authors with Amie Kaufman. He is also writing a new YA series called Stormdancer, published by Thomas Dunne Books/St Martin’s Press, released in late 2012 worldwide. His next trilogy will be published by Del Rey and HarperCollins UK, also starting in 2013.
