Reviews About “Why We Sleep” by “Matthew Walker”
This is without a doubt one of the most fascinating, compelling, and important books I have ever read on any subject, even including other books written by renowned neuroscientists. The writing is so effortlessly engaging that it takes an incredible effort to slow down and absorb every single word. I feel compelled to stop reading at least 3 times per page to reflect upon what I just read. As each paragraph flows into multiple pages in size, you begin to realize how much information Dr. Walker has put into his book about sleep and why it’s essential for our very survival. It’s not hyperbole when he says he wrote a book about something as complex as sleep for laymen. It is truly easy to understand and anyone who reads it will walk away with a new appreciation for why we need to get enough quality sleep every night.
