Linda Anne Silvestri, Ph.D., RN, FAAN is a clinical nurse specialist in adult cardiology and cardiac surgery. She is also an assistant professor at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. Dr. Silvestri received her bachelor’s degree from Ursinus College and her master’s of science degree from Drexel University. In 1978 she was awarded a fellowship to attend Stanford University School of Medicine. Where she earned a doctorate in nursing practice (DNP). She also holds a doctoral degree from Arizona State University and an Adjunct Professor position at Nova Southeastern University. Her roles include educator, researcher, administrator, and consultant throughout her professional career.
