Reviews About “The Winter Witch” by “Paula Brackston”
Despite being a historical fiction novel, The Winter Witch is extremely well researched. It is set in central Europe in 1690 and covers several different countries including Transylvania, Hungary, and Switzerland. This book will make you laugh and it will shock you at certain points. There are also many lessons to be learned from reading about Anna’s experiences living in a patriarchal society during that period. I would recommend The Winter Witch to anyone.
