The Good Girl is a very interesting book by Michael Robotham. It is about how two sisters are kidnapped and about twenty years later one escapes. She tries to find her sister with no luck. So she becomes part of a big kidnapping case to seek justice for what happened to her. This book has many twists and turns in it. There was always something new happening that kept you interested in reading more of it until you had read all of it because you just could not stop reading it. After all, it was so interesting that I could not put down my book until I had read all three hundred pages of it.

Michael Robotham is an Australian author who has written novels and screenplays. In 2011 he was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia for services to literature and writing. The Sidney Nolan Collection at the National Gallery of Victoria features five paintings inspired by his novel Lines of Fire. He is also a former psychiatric nurse. His writing has received praise from fellow authors including Alex Delaware (from Jonathan Kellerman’s series), Lee Child, and Stephen King. He praised The Calling as one of his favorite reads in 2012. John Connolly called him an immense talent and Clive Cussler said that there’s no reason why we shouldn’t expect him to become as big in America as James Patterson or Harlan Coben.
