Tunnel of Bones, by Victoria Schwab, tells the story of David and his sister, Violet. In the small town they live in, they are attacked by hollows. Which are dead humans that have been possessed by demons called Frightfuls. They try to run away and hide, but find themselves trapped under a tunnel near their home in the woods. Because they were scared, they ran into the tunnel instead of away from it like David’s father had told them to do in case of an attack. And now they were trapped with no way out.
