Emily (Roberson) is from Michigan, U.S.A. She has a degree in English literature from Grand Valley State University with a minor in Education. In her spare time, she enjoys writing speculative fiction for young adults, hiking and camping, listening to music, and binging on good television shows. Her debut novel Lifestyles of Gods and Monsters was released in 2017 through Less Than Three Press as part of their 100 theme challenge. It’s a queer sci-fi/fantasy that explores what happens when a magically gifted family attempts to overthrow an oppressive monarchy while they’re at odds with each other over love triangles and complicated relationships with friends, family, demons…and themselves.
