This science fiction novel is about the communication powers of telepathic and telekinetic used in space technology. Telepathic and telekinetic are introduced in this novel as an alternative to the light barrier.
Before the use of telepathic and telekinetic use, there was no chance of colonization of other planets. However, McCaffrey revealed via this novel that using telepathic and telekinetic technology, we can make possible the colonization of various other planets along with limited life facilities.
Here she remains only on the plant in the children’s community. However, after this lonely life, she falls in love with another previous Prime on Deneb.
This grey eye character is the only mudslide survivor whereas the mudslide has destroyed her Mining Camp on Altair. The other character is Siglen (a slab of a female and more harmful while dealing with the Rowan), Lucina (the mother of the Rowan, later on, died in a crash, Rowan was 18), Goswina Lyon, Afra Lyon, Jeff Raven, Ischia Raven, Peter Reidinger IV, and Elizara Matheson, etc.
