The cover of The Orphan’s Song is beautiful and immediately drew me in to want to pick up and read it. Having not heard of it before but having liked what I saw, I picked up a copy from my local bookstore. At first, I was a little confused about how two different narrators were going to tell one story together but after starting it I found that their stories complemented each other well. One sister shared her story through her diary entries while another spoke directly out of her mouth, which made for a wonderful combination and plenty of excitement for those who enjoy good supernatural fiction. The new style in which all this was told added something interesting that we don’t see much nowadays, keeping my attention until the very end!
