The Sworn Sword is the third novel in the A Song of Ice and Fire series by George R. R. Martin, released in October 2000. It was nominated for the Nebula Award and Locus Award in 2001 and was ranked #33 on the Locus Hardcovers Bestsellers List for 2001. It was included in the 2005 edition of The Science Fiction Hall of Fame.
