I became very excited to keep reading. Because there was lots of world-building information being thrown around quickly without slowing down or boring me.
Reviews About “Magic for Liars” by “Sarah Gailey”
This novel is easily one of my favorites that I have read so far in 2019 (and maybe even all-time). It was engaging from start to finish and kept me wanting more as soon as I finished reading each chapter. The characters were detailed, engaging, and believable – much like actual people – with strengths and weaknesses both fictional and nonfictional. One complaint I’ve heard other readers give is that they found much of it difficult to believe/picture; however, many pieces in books are hard to imagine when they describe things like clothing styles or vehicles that we don’t know of today.
