Review About “The Chestnut Man” by “Soren Sveistrup”
What a fascinating book! I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good mystery and an even better thriller. The book begins with a horrifying scene that leaves you wondering what has happened to these two young girls and where they are now. As you read on, you learn of Anna’s life in Copenhagen as well as how she got to be where she is. Her husband is a famous children’s author and most people think they have everything they could want. However, Anna seems uncomfortable with her husband’s success and longing for something more out of life. She constantly feels like she is living in someone else’s shadow. When she disappears, everyone immediately thinks about her abusive past. But there is more to it than just her past haunting her present life. This novel will keep you guessing until the very last page!
