MethosJust as with most things, there are positives and negatives to doing business as an invisible client (someone who does work as a contractor rather than through an employer). As with most things, the decision of whether to do this or not depends entirely on you, your circumstances. And your plans for the future. There’s never one answer that applies to everyone when it comes to this. So the best course of action is always going to be to think carefully about your situation. And what you want from it before making any rash decisions.
Overview About “An Invisible Client” by “Victor Methos”
An invisible client is a book that has been written as a reference manual for psychotherapists. In other words, it is not intended to be read from cover to cover in one sitting. But rather used and referred to over time. This particular book can be used as a textbook in advanced training programs of mental health professionals (psychologists, therapists, etc.) who are engaged in cognitive therapy or systems theory. The latter refers to how people’s behavior patterns are determined by their personality traits and social interactions which consist of feedback loops. Though often overlooked, self-esteem plays an important role in each individual’s life. When we don’t feel good about ourselves, we tend to behave differently than when we have positive self-esteem and feel confident about ourselves.
Reviews About “An Invisible Client” by “Victor Methos”
I liked An Invisible Client. It was a nice play on words and something most of us can relate to things that go wrong at work that we know we need to take care of but keep putting off because they seem too small or insignificant. In An Invisible Client, there is one little incident that keeps snowballing into bigger and bigger problems for everyone involved; it’s easy to see how one small thing can lead to an avalanche effect in business and personal life alike. It makes me wonder what my own invisible client might be…something I should pay attention to but keep ignoring until it’s just too big to handle? Read on and find out!
