As a science fiction fan and someone who reads a lot of both hard and soft science fiction. I am always looking for books that explore new concepts and are not afraid to give depth to their world-building. This book was no exception. It kept me up all night reading. Because I just had to know what happened next in terms of how humanity is changed or affected by everything going on with them. My favorite aspect about these books has been the writing style, specifically that there is no chapter break between each POV switch (except for chapter 1). This gives more of an impression of a TV show than a traditional novel as if it were one continuous story being told as opposed to smaller short stories being added together into one big novel.
