Overview About “Developing Person Through the Life Span 10 Edition”
This is a book that is designed to be used in a college developmental psychology course. This book is also really good for students. Who are interested in understanding why they do certain things or act in certain ways. There are so many books on personality and biological determinism. And I really wanted to read something that examined different types of environmental effects. As it turns out, I think most people have some amount of both genetics and environment driving their behavior at any given point in time. The biggest thing I took away from reading about how experiences shape us throughout our lives was just how much harder it makes everything when you aren’t able to get through childhood unscathed.
Reviews About “Developing Person Through the Life Span 10 Edition”
This is an awesome developmental psychology book. I took a class with Dr. Prashanth Meiyappan (currently a professor at Cleveland State University), and he used it in his course. I bought my own copy after taking his class. And it helped me immensely in studying for my AP Psych exam! This book is everything you need to know about developmental psychology and more! Definitely buy if you’re studying developmental psychology or are going to take an advanced class on the subject (AP Psychology, Developmental Psychology, etc.). It’s definitely worth every penny. Five stars no doubt! The author does such a great job of answering all your questions about human development throughout life – from infancy to death.
