About “Tony Gaddis” the Author
Tony Gaddis has been teaching college-level computer science courses for more than 20 years. His writing and teaching emphasize clarity, careful organization, and real-world relevance. Dr. Gaddis is a senior lecturer at the University of Colorado Boulder, where he earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science. He teaches introductory programming to non-majors (C++) as well as object-oriented design (in C++) to computer science majors at CU. In 2010 he was inducted into ACM SIGPLAN’s Academy of Fellows for his contributions to advancing education in computing through books and curricula. Dr. Gaddis lives in Longmont, Colorado with his wife Debbie and son Andrew.
