About “Carole Wade, Carol Tavris, Maryanne Garry” the Authors
Carol Tavris is a social psychologist and lecturer at UC Berkeley. She is the author or coauthor of ten books, including The Mismeasure of Woman, The Longest War, Anger. She lives in Berkeley with Steve Pinker. Carole Wade, Ph.D., is a Professor of Psychology at Oakland University, Rochester Hills, Michigan. Maryanne Garry, Ph.D., is a Research Associate in Psychology at Oakland University. And he also works as a university staff developer on campus. All four co-authors have been teaching Introductory Psychology for over 15 years two of them have taught for more than 20 years. The goal of all six editions has been to make psychology interesting and comprehensible to today’s generation of students by making connections between important concepts in psychology and current events happening around them today.
