About “David Myers” the Author of “Psychology in Everyday Life (5th Edition)”
David Myers is a professor of psychology at Hope College. Dr. Myers received his BA from Princeton University and his MA and Ph.D. from The Ohio State University. He has taught at Hope since 1987. His first book, Psychology (7th ed.), was used worldwide for several years after its publication in 2005, including translated editions in French, German, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Polish, and Romanian. Dr. Myers won a 1994 Pfizer Award for excellence in college teaching of psychology and he was recognized as Educator of Year at Hope College by Newsweek magazine in 2001-2002.
