Every once in a while, I’ll come across a book that I know would make an amazing movie. I say know because even if it doesn’t scream for Hollywood treatment on its own. I can easily picture how it could be adapted into a great film. Books like The Bone Houses are written so beautifully and thoughtfully that you can’t help but imagine them on screen. That being said, sometimes when you read one of these books you find yourself disappointed with your made-up cast and plot lines…and then sometimes they just live up to your high expectations.
